2015 was a warm vintage and this wine has lush fruit and sufficient tannins, but it also has good acidity and balance.
The 2015 Winemaker Cuvee Pinot Noir is a blend of 7 barrels that were the very best that the vintage had to offer: 4 barrels of Pommard clone Pinot Noir from the Southeast block of Northridge Vineyard in the Eola-Amity hills, two barrels of Pommard from Kelley Family Vineyard in the Dundee Hills, and one barrel of 828-clone Pinot from Lia's Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountain AVA. After a two week cold soak, the wine was fermented using native yeasts and aged in French oak for eighteen months.
