2019 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

The Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is Willful's flagship wine, as it encapsulates all of the nuance and vibrant character that Oregon Pinot Noir is famous for.

The 2019 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of Pommard, Wadenswil, 777, 115, and two barrels of 943 clone Pinot Noir.

Balanza Vineyard in the Dundee Hills (22%), Stewart Vineyard in Ribbon Ridge (23%), Winkler Vineyard in Yamhill-Carlton (23%), and Jubilee Vineyard and Greenwood Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills (32%).

The grapes were fermented in small lots using native yeasts with around 40% whole cluster then aged for twelve months in French oak (some neutral and several one-year-old barrels). This wine has bright red fruit flavors paired with firm but elegant tannins and earthy, floral aromas.  It will pair well with chicken, pork or salmon.
