This 50/50 Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot is aged for eighteen months in French oak and has bright cassis fruit flavors with earthy, lean tannins. At 13.5% alcohol, it makes a lovely partner to a variety of meat dishes. Drink now or cellar for 10+ years.

Umpqua Valley AVA. 18 acre vineyard outside of Roseburg in southern Oregon. Lovingly and meticulously farmed by Jim & Terri Delfino
Winemaker Notes
Earthy but with juicy cassis and plum fruit flavors. This wine was all secondary flavors for the first year in barrel and around 15 months old it flourished and is now a lovely balance of spicy cassis fruit flavors and earthiness with just a hint of bell pepper. Firm but graceful structure.
Food Pairing Notes
Tasty by itself but a great partner for steak, and robust chicken and pork dishes, even spicy food.
